This Refund Policy applies to all digital products and software licenses sold by Softechies Solutions (“Softechies”, “we”, “us”, “our”), including:
- QuickBill premium feature unlocks
- Other downloadable software, license keys, and digital purchases
1. No Refunds on Digital Products
Because our products are digital and license-based, all sales are final once payment is processed and your license is delivered. We do not offer refunds, returns, or chargebacks for completed purchases of digital products.
This policy exists because:
- Once a license key is issued, it cannot be deactivated or recovered
- Digital products can be downloaded, used, or copied immediately upon purchase
- You are encouraged to test our free tier before purchasing
2. Try Before You Buy
QuickBill offers full free access to the core invoice generation feature without payment. You can use the AI invoice generator at softechies.net/quickbill at no cost to confirm it meets your needs before purchasing premium feature unlocks.
We strongly encourage every user to test the free version thoroughly before making any purchase. By proceeding to checkout, you confirm that the free tier met your evaluation needs.
3. Exceptions — When We Will Issue a Refund
While our default policy is no refunds, we will review and may approve refund requests on a case-by-case basis in the following exceptional circumstances:
3.1 Duplicate purchase
If you accidentally purchased the same product twice within 24 hours due to a payment error, we will refund the duplicate transaction. Contact us with both receipts and we will process the refund within 7 business days.
3.2 Technical defect on our end
If a verifiable technical defect prevents you from receiving or using your license key, AND we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable time, we may issue a refund. Contact us first — in most cases we can resolve license delivery issues quickly.
3.3 Unauthorised charge
If you believe a charge was made to your account without your authorisation (e.g., due to a stolen card or family member purchase), contact us immediately at hello@softechies.net. We will investigate in cooperation with the payment provider and refund verified unauthorised charges.
4. How to Request a Refund Review
If you believe your situation falls under one of the exceptions in Section 3, please email us at hello@softechies.net with the following information:
- Your full name and the email address used at purchase
- Order or transaction ID from your receipt
- Date of purchase
- Reason for the refund request and any relevant evidence (screenshots, error messages, duplicate transaction IDs)
We will respond to all refund requests within 5 business days with a decision. If approved, refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7–14 business days, depending on your payment provider.
5. Custom Software Engagements
Refunds for custom software development engagements are governed by the separate written agreement (Statement of Work or Master Services Agreement) for that engagement. This Refund Policy does not apply to custom development projects.
6. Chargebacks
We strongly request that you contact us directly first if you have any concerns about a purchase. Filing a chargeback with your bank without first attempting to resolve the issue with us may result in:
- Permanent suspension of your license
- Loss of access to the product
- Inability to make future purchases from us
We are committed to resolving legitimate concerns quickly — please give us the opportunity to help before involving your bank.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top of this page indicates when the latest version took effect. Purchases made under a previous version of this policy are governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
